My puppy and I were attacked by 2 great danes on the North Perkiomen Trail (between Kratz Station Rd and Hendricks Rd). The great danes lunged and dragged the owner approximately 10-15ft to attack. The owner of the Great Danes, gave a fake name and 2 fake phone numbers. The case continues as of April 14, 2011.

The same dogs attacked another dog in Cheltenham. This case was settled at a hearing. The owner of the great danes paid the vet bills for the injured dog.
I do not believe dogs that have bitten an individual and repeatedly bitten animals should be allowed to have the chance to bite again. Therefore, I believe strict restrictions of the dogs and even more importantly the dangerous owner are absolutely necessary.
